Join us for five days of family fun, laughter, and community spirit during our annual Lake & Shore Community Days in Porters Lake! From live entertainment and parades to scavenger hunts and fireworks (fingers crossed!), there’s something for everyone.

Explore local businesses, solve clues, and collect codes! Pick up your clue card Friday, August 15th from 6–8PM at the Community Centre or download it from our Facebook page when clues go live. Return your completed card to the Car Show on Sunday to be entered into a draw for great prizes.

👑 PRINCESS HIGH TEA

Dress your little ones up for a royal afternoon! Enjoy snacks, "tea", and special visits from our enchanting princesses.

🎭 MASQUERADE DANCE

It’s time to hit the dance floor! Come in your finest Mardi Gras-inspired mask (optional but encouraged) and enjoy a night of music with DJ FKR. Let's dance the night away!

🚗🎪 CAR SHOW, KIDS CARNIVAL + FOOD TRUCKS

This family-friendly event features bouncy castles, carnival games, face painting, and of course—cool cars!
🚘 Car registration opens at 9:00AM – $10 per car (no pre-registration required).
🚤 BOAT PARADE
📅 Sunday, August 17th | 🕣 8:30PM (weather permitting)
📍 Starts north of the Narrows → Sandy Point Beach
💵 Free to enter
Decorate your boat and join the floating celebration! All boaters welcome. Spectators can watch from the shoreline—bring blankets or chairs and enjoy the evening show!

📍 Visible from the shoreline around Sandy Point
Cap off the weekend with a bang! A beautiful fireworks display is planned—pending final sponsorship support. Stay tuned for confirmation!
