Rick Anderson’s Belly Busting Trivia
Join us on Friday, August 9th, 2024 from 7:00PM - 10:00PM at Porters Lake Community Centre for a night of comedy and trivia hosted by Rick Anderson.

Street Parade
Join us on Saturday, August 10th, 2024 at 10:00AM for the Lake & Shore Days Street Parade. The parade will start at Stella Drive next to Superstore, travel westbound along Highway 7, and end at the Porters Lake Community Centre.
Our PLCSA float is going to be collecting donations for the local Food Bank along the parade route.
Participants - please complete the entrance form.
Teddy Bear Picnic & BBQ
Join us on Saturday, August 10th, 2024 immediately following the street parade at the Porters Lake Community Centre for our annual Teddy Bear Picnic! Bring your favourite teddy bear and your loved ones for a morning of fun, snacks, and activities that will create heartwarming memories.
Fundraiser Barbecue: Hotdogs and hamburgers will be available for purchase on-site.
Dance + Live Music
Join us on August 10th, 2024 from 8:00PM to 1:00AM at the Porters Lake Community Centre for Metro's electrifying live music event! Dance all night with drinks available at our cash bar, including Coldstream Clear.
Tickets are $15 each

Car Show + Food Truck Rally
Don't miss our Car Show and Food Truck Rally on August 11th, 2024 from 11:00AM-2:00PM at Porters Lake Elementary! Enjoy stunning cars competing for awards like Best in Show and indulge in a variety of delicious treats from our food trucks.
Car registration is $10, and entry for spectators is just $2.
Join us for a day of horsepower and culinary delights – bring your family and friends for an unforgettable day!
Washer Toss Tournament
Time: 2:00PM-6:00PM
Location: Porters Lake Community Centre
Entry Fee: $10 per player
Age: 19+ event

Boat Parade of Lights
Join us for the Porters Lake Boat Parade of Lights on August 11th, 2024 at 8:00PM!
Starting from the north end of the Narrows, boats adorned with lights will cruise through the Narrows, under the bridge, past the trailer park, and around a counterclockwise loop. The parade culminates with the dazzling Atlantic Hardchrome fireworks display off Sandy Point Beach.
Spectators can enjoy the spectacle from the shoreline. It's a night of enchantment on Porters Lake – don't miss out!
Atlantic Hardchrome Fireworks
Join us for the Atlantic Hardchrome Fireworks in Porters Lake on August 11th at dusk (around 9:30 PM)! Watch a dazzling display from various points around the lake, celebrating community spirit and the grand finale of our Lake & Shore Days Weekend.
